Every 2 years we run either an Olympics or Commonwealth Games week (to coincide with these events). At the end of every lesson during the week we run fun games and activities to go along with the games theme.

At the end of every session, Dash the mascot, comes out to hand out medals to all the swimmers. All the swimmers get to stand on a dais to receive their medals. At the conclusion of the medal presentation we play the national anthem, which all the swimmers sing to (there are quite a few tears in parents eyes during the national anthem). It is a great event and not one to be missed.
