At SSA we have theme weeks every term. These are a great way to celebrate events over the year. As you can see our teaching team enjoy the days as much as the kids.
Our cuddly mascot Dash the white seal loves our theme weeks and often comes out to meet the kids and have fun with them. Some of Dash's favourite theme weeks are:-
- Footy Finals Week (go the Saints)
- Christmas Week (the kids love seeing the jolly fat man in red)
- Special Persons Week
- Olympics/Comm Games Week
- Water Safety Week

During these weeks our fantastic team often volunteer to sell hot dogs to raise money for our local charities.
In 2009 we donated $9000 to the Childrens Ward at the Ballarat Base Hospital thanks to donations and purchases from all the families and friends of SSA.
